HOW DO THE NOZZLES WORK?

• An airless sprayer pumps and pressurizes paint without using air. The pump generates • Paint flow • Paint pressure • Paint comes out through the small hole in the nozzle at high pressure (up to 350 bar). • This process sprays paint with a controlled fan width and flow rate (same effect as placing your thumb on the end of a garden hose). The nozzle size tells the pump how much to work with.

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES AND SIZES OF NOZZLES? The choice of nozzle can be compared to that of the right bit for an electric drill. There are bits designed for wood, others for metal, and others for cement. Each type of drill for each application has various sizes. Using the wrong bit on the wrong surface is a mistake. Something very similar happens with airless nozzles.
